AMA To Congress: Use Money NDAA Moved To Medicare Fund To Avoid 2024 Cuts

The American Medical Association wants lawmakers to use a transfer of about $1.8 billion into the Medicare Improvement Fund -- a funding shift tucked into the defense authorization bill -- to avert upcoming Medicare physician pay cuts.
