Advocates Unveil State Unwinding Scorecards, Disenrollments Top 10.6M

Hawaii’s post-pandemic Medicaid renewals process is the only one to receive a passing grade from a coalition of beneficiary advocates, who rated each state’s unwinding status based on whether they’ve expanded Medicaid and, among other things, procedural termination rates including disenrollments due to paperwork or administrative errors.
