Advocates Seek To Delay RSNAT Via Upcoming Omnibus Bill

Advocates who have been calling to no avail for CMS to pause its planned expansion of a demonstration program that aims to reduce Medicare spending on non-emergency ambulances are now asking Congress to stall the program via the upcoming omnibus spending package. In a Feb. 14 letter to key Senate and House committees, 56 advocacy groups request that lawmakers add report language to the omnibus legislation that would delay further implementation of the Repetitive Scheduled Non-Emergency Ambulance Transport (RSNAT) model...
