Advocates Generally Praise CMS’ Proposed Maternal Morbidity Reporting

Maternal health advocates are praising a new hospital inpatient quality reporting program measure in next year’s proposed hospital pay rule, saying it will incentivize hospitals to adopt standard labor and delivery practices that reduce maternal mortality.
