Actuaries Outline Key Concerns With BCRA; House Spending Bill Defangs Mandate

The American Academy of Actuaries warned eliminating the Affordable Care Act's individual mandate would result in upward pressure on premiums in a letter to Senate leadership that came shortly after the House Appropriations 'financial services subcommittee released an appropriations bill that would block IRS from implementing the provision.
