AAHomecare To White House: Keep Ventilators Out Of DME Bid Program

Durable medical equipment lobbyists took their fight against adding ventilators to the competitive bidding program to the White House Domestic Policy Council after vowing to pressure the administration and Congress to change the policy. CMS confirmed it would add non-invasive ventilators to the revamped DME bid program earlier this month, despite previous concerns from the American Association for Homecare.
