Hospitals Say Rep. Barton's Draft Bill Would Remove Half Of Them From 340B

340B Health reported Tuesday (July 10) that a draft bill by Rep. Joe Barton (R) would cut about half of the hospitals that qualify for 340B through their Disproportionate Share Hospital payments from that drug discount program. Barton's state of Texas is among those states where a high number of hospitals would lose 340B eligibility.
