NCQA Releases Mobile App That Finds Accredited Providers, Plans

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) on Monday (July 20) unveiled a new mobile app that lets users search detailed information on the quality and performance of health plans, including on-exchange options, and providers in their area. The app allows consumers to search for providers within a 100-mile radius. Users can filter providers to view NCQA-endorsed patient-centered medical homes, specialty practices and clinicians that are recognized in the diabetes or heart and stroke programs, NCQA said on its website...
