House Rules Committee Clears Path For Vote On Senate's GMO Labeling Bill

The House Rules Committee on Tuesday (July 12) cleared the way for a floor vote on Senate-passed legislation to establish a mandatory labeling standard for GMO products, denying attempts to amend it. The rule provides for one hour of debate to be controlled by the Agriculture Committee.
