HHS Announces Steep Decline In Data Matching Issues

HHS revealed Wednesday (Oct. 19) that 113,00 people were terminated from exchange coverage due to unresolved citizenship or immigration data matching issues from April through June, a 63 percent decrease from the same time last year following several changes implemented by the agency. Another 425,000 exchange consumers saw their APTCs or CSRs adjusted due to unresolved income issues, which CMS says is a 42 percent decrease from the second quarter in 2015.
