Health IT Officials Urge Use Of Medicare Payments For Cybersecurity

The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and the Association of Executives in Healthcare Information Security (AEHIS) are urging lawmakers to enact incentives for cybersecurity investments by the healthcare industry, including allowing federal Medicare managers to consider security as a factor for reimbursements.
