Hatch, Heinrich Ask FDA About DNA Test Used In NY Supplement Probe

Dietary Supplement Caucus Chairmen Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Martin Heinrich (D-NM) want to know if FDA condones the use of DNA testing to identify supplement ingredients -- a testing method used by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman in his allegations many dietary supplements sold in his state don't include their labeled ingredients.
