Energy & Commerce Plans Hearing On 340B Drug Discount Program

The House Energy & Commerce health subcommittee will hold a hearing on the 340B drug discount program on March 5, subcommittee Chair Joe Pitts (R-PA) announced Wednesday. “Subcommittee members will review the functionality of the program to ensure it is meeting its goal of improving access to prescription drugs for needy patients at facilities serving these populations,” the hearing notice says.
