Congress has sent to the president for signature a bill that would improve access to emergency psychiatric care for adult Medicaid beneficiaries. The House passed the bi-partisan Improving Access to Emergency Psychiatric Care Act of 2015, which extends the Medicaid emergency psychiatric demonstration project, by voice vote on Monday (Nov. 16).
