Vermont AG Defends GE Label Law Against First Amendment Allegations

Vermont's attorney general pushed back against industry claims that the state's new labeling law for genetically engineered (GE) foods is infringing on First Amendment rights, saying that the law requires the disclosure of purely factual speech that is related to several legitimate state interests.
