Short-Term FDA Funding Bill Passes House

The House Monday (Oct. 7) passed 235-162 a bill that would fund FDA until Dec. 15, with 34 members not voting. President Barack Obama has said he would veto the bill and called for full government funding, rather than piecemeal measures, and the funding measure is not expected to pass the Senate.
