Senate Slated To Take Up FDA Spending Bill Tuesday

The Senate is expected to begin debate on a fiscal year 2015 agriculture/FDA funding bill Tuesday (June 17), a congressional source said. Senate Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) will kick off the discussion, which could span more than a week and include an open amendment process drawing amendments from both sides of the aisles, a committee staffer said.
