Senate Dems Push Swift OMB Review Of Food Safety Rules, Increased Funding

Three Senate health committee senators -- echoing a recent call from House Democrats -- Thursday (Sept. 4) asked OMB to “significantly” increase FDA's budget, rather than rely on unauthorized industry fees to fund Food Safety and Modernization Act (FSMA) implementation.
