Public Citizen Urges Caution With Limited Population Antibiotic Approvals

Public Citizen Friday (Sept. 19) came out against pending legislation that would allow limited population antibiotic approvals, saying the bill would compromise the FDA approval process. The criticism comes as presidential advisers endorse the approach and the House Energy and Commerce health panel eyes the measure as a possible solution to spur antibiotic development.
