PCMA: Opening Up Some Preferred Pharmacy Networks Could Cost $21 Billion

The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association says a legislative proposal to let more pharmacies participate in preferred pharmacy networks located in medically underserved areas would cost the government an extra $21 billion over 10 years, though the House bill's sponsor and community pharmacists disagree with the alleged price tag.
