Pariser Steps Down From Rare Disease Position In FDA's New Drug Office

Anne Pariser, associate director for rare diseases in FDA's Office of New Drugs, stepped down to work in the Office of Translational Sciences, according to a recent internal email announcing the change. She will work on the drug center's medical informatics programs, according to the email, sent by OND Director John Jenkins. Larry Bauer, a regulatory scientist in ONC's rare disease program, will manage the program's day-to-day functions as the agency evaluates replacements, according to the email. -- Alaina Busch
