Home health providers and the American Medical Association are pushing for Medicare appeals settlements along the lines of the settlement CMS reached last year with hospitals, coming as Reps. Tom Price (R-GA) and Greg Walden (R-OR) get ready to unveil a home health bill that could pave the way for a settlement for that industry. CMS, meanwhile, says it is exploring all options for reducing the appeals backlog, and did not rule out similar settlements for other health care sectors...
