Bevin Submits Conservative Medicaid Waiver To CMS That Draws On Marketplace Setup

Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R) submitted a tweaked Medicaid reform waiver to CMS on Wednesday (Aug. 24), but a key Medicaid beneficiary advocate complained the waiver still includes provisions that the agency is unlikely to approve -- including a work requirement -- and said other provisions block access to care, like monthly premiums and a controversial coverage lock-out.
