Slavitt Signals Grants Could Be Used To End Kynect, Offers To-Do List

Kentucky may be able to use federal grant funds to wind down Kynect, acting CMS Administrator Andy Slavitt signaled in a recent letter to Republican Gov. Matt Bevin, as state officials expect to repay what remains of nearly $290 million in exchange establishment funds. The Jan. 28 letter details a five-point plan for the Bevin administration to begin shifting to Healthcare.gov this year.
