The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the Medicare Hospital Insurance Trust Fund will be exhausted in 2026, and House Ways & Means Chair Kevin Brady (R-TX) and Senate health committee Chair Lamar Alexander (R-TN) say that should spur health care reforms.
