House Oversight Committee To Hold Hearing Jan. 26 On Drug Price Increases

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will hold a hearing on Jan. 26 to examine recent steep price increases for drugs such as Turing's AIDS drug Daraprim. The hearing was referenced in a letter Tuesday (Jan. 12) to former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals Martin Shkreli that was signed by committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and ranking Democrat Elijah Cummings (MD).
