Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) continued his scrutiny of Valeant Pharmaceuticals -- which has been criticized for its drug pricing policies -- by requesting CEO Michael Pearson provide transcribed interviews from the company's employees as new allegations emerged that it was Valeant employees who launched Philidor, a specialty pharmacy that Valeant allegedly used to mask its price increases and circumvent the traditional insurance reimbursement process.
