Health IT Groups Push Improved Interoperability, Reformed Privacy Laws

The viability of the White House's Precision Medicine Initiative hinges on the public and private sectors working together in tandem to overcome institutional challenges, says a report released by Health IT Now and the Center for Data Innovation. The groups recommend improvements in interoperability coupled with reforms to privacy laws to promote collaborative, multidisciplinary research.
