Physicians Groups Raise Concerns Over Sunshine Law's Dispute Process

The American Medical Association, Alliance of Specialty Medicine and other state and specialty societies are raising concerns that the dispute resolution process for the sunshine law's Open Payments program doesn't adequately protect physicians and lets manufacturers dismiss disputes that physicians or hospitals don't think have been resolved.
