Personalized Medicine Bill Reintroduced Under Bipartisan Umbrella

Two Senate health committee members Monday (March 26) launched a bipartisan effort to speed the development of customized health care, particularly by encouraging drug and device manufacturers to develop diagnostic tests to accompany their products. The legislative proposal also calls for FDA to update its oversight of diagnostics and to work with the Federal Trade Commission to stop misleading advertising. Sen.
