FDA CNPRV Criteria May Mirror RFK Jr.’s Push To Curb Overprescribing

One of the FDA’s criteria for awarding priority review vouchers under its new program for companies that address national priorities -- reducing “downstream medical utilization” -- is raising eyebrows, with some industry observers saying the vague cost-saving goal appears to echo HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign to rein in drug overprescribing.
