Lawmakers: Labeling Could Mislead Consumers To Think GE Foods Are Dangerous

House Energy and Commerce Committee lawmakers debated this week whether labeling of genetically engineered foods is needed, and questioned an FDA official as to whether these foods are different or riskier than foods that are not genetically modified.
