CMS Lays Out Future Of Meaningful Use Program In Stage 3 Proposed Rule

CMS released a long anticipated proposed rule on the third stage of the so-called meaningful use of electronic health records program Friday (March 20) that would give providers an extra year to start the last stage of the program and proposes to make it the only stage of meaningful use starting in 2018.
