Senate Finance Ranking Member Orrin Hatch (R-UT) declared his “vehement” opposition to extending Medicaid drug rebates to Medicare Part D on Wednesday (Oct. 12), following remarks the previous day in which he said “it's a very important area” and expects the rebate proposal to come up in deficit reduction talks.
