Groups Cite Interest In Reform's Co-Op Provision As HHS Advisory Board To Meet Jan. 13

The alternative to the public option that Sen. Kent Conrad (D-ND) worked to get into the health reform law is garnering interest from several existing employer-owned cooperatives around the country, as an advisory board responsible for making recommendations to HHS on $6 billion in funding is slated to hold its first meeting Thursday (Jan. 13).
