Sources: DME, Provider Taxes, Blended FMAP Targets Eyed As Medicaid Cut Options -- But Extending Drug Rebates Off Table

Debt limit negotiators are no longer considering extending Medicaid rebates to dually eligible beneficiaries or those in the Medicare low-income subsidy program due to heavy drug industry opposition, several sources tell Inside Health Policy.
