Senate Shoots Down Baucus' Attempt To Repeal Reform Law's 1099 Tax Provision

The Senate on Wednesday rejected Sen. Max Baucus' (D-MT) effort to repeal the controversial 1099 reporting provision that was included in the health reform law as a pay-for, despite bipartisan opposition to the tax reporting requirement.
