The House Energy and Commerce health panel will hold a hearing on antibiotic resistance and drug development Friday (Sept. 19) as part of the committee's medical innovation initiative that committee Chair Fred Upton (R-MI) said will culminate in legislation synthesizing findings from the effort by January of 2015.
