House Panel Plans Hearing On FDA Regulation Of GMO's

The House Energy and Commerce health panel will hold a hearing Wednesday (Dec. 10) to examine FDA's role in regulating genetically modified food ingredients. Rep. Joe Pitts (R-PA) summoned undisclosed FDA officials, third-party experts and industry stakeholders to testify, according to a press release issued Dec. 3.
