Hospitals: Brady's Discussion Draft Adds More Complexity To Payments

Hospitals are cautioning House Ways & Means health subcommittee Chair Kevin Brady (R-TX) against adding a third, separate payment system for short hospital stays, as they say it would add complexity to an already convoluted reimbursement system and could have a negative effect on the diagnosis-related group system used to classify hospital cases.
