HHS: Nearly 6.8 Million Americans Enrolled In FFM Plans As Of Jan. 9

Nearly 6.8 million Americans chose a health insurance plan or were automatically re-enrolled in their 2014 coverage through healthcare.gov from Nov. 15 to Jan. 9, according to enrollment numbers released by HHS Wednesday (Jan. 14). Weekly enrollment slightly grew from Jan. 3 through 9 over the previous week, at around 163,000 sign-ups compared to almost 103,000 plan selections from Dec. 27 through Jan. 2.
