HealthPocket Analyzes Changes In 2015 Exchange Plan Deductibles

A new HealthPocket analysis of CMS' data on 2015 qualified health plans (QHPs) found deductibles remained high for three of the four metal tiers, even as Gold and Platinum plan deductibles decreased somewhat from 2014. The report also found that the out-of-pocket-cost for doctors' visits varied by plan type: Costs increased for 13 Bronze products, but declined slightly-- from $24 to $23 per visit -- for Gold plans.
