NHC Hopeful Healthcare.gov Will Link To Its Cost Calculator, Wants Data

The National Health Council (NHC) told CMS in a recent letter that the group would be happy to allow Healthcare.gov to link to its out-of-pocket cost calculator in exchange for free access to the agency’s public-use files (PUFs). CMS recently revealed that is developing an OOPC, but the agency does not expect the tool to be ready by the next open enrollment period and instead is looking to link from Healthcare.gov to a third-party vendor.
