CMS Seeks More QHP Data; Consumers Urged To Reconcile Taxes

Congress is out for another week, but CMS has been keeping stakeholders busy. Last week, the agency revealed it is asking QHPs with risk corridor data discrepancies to fill out a new “worksheet” and provide supporting documentation explaining the differences, and is also asking all QHP issuers to complete a new MLR, Risk Corridors “checklist” to attest that the data provided is accurate.
