HHS Reports $8.7B In Reinsurance Funds, Falling Shy Of $12B Target

HHS fell short of collecting its $12 billion goal for reinsurance contributions, instead receiving about $8.7 billion for the 2014 benefit year as of March 31, CMS said Tuesday (April 14). Around $1 billion more is expected to be transferred to the government on or before Nov. 15.
