Advocates Upset As CMS Says 200K Will Be Dropped From Rolls

Immigrant advocates expressed deep disappointment with the administration after CMS Deputy Administrator Andy Slavitt said Wednesday (Feb. 11) that 200,000 individuals will be dropped from exchange coverage due to unresolved citizenship-related data matching issues. Slavitt revealed the news in a call with reporters in which CMS also announced that 7.75 million people have either selected a plan or been automatically re-enrolled through Healthcare.gov.
