AMA Official: Payers Must Craft Clinical Paths To Include Precision Medicine

Payers' growing use of clinical pathways and the country's new focus on precision medicine are not mutually exclusive as long as the pathways are written properly, according to an American Medical Association board member and oncologist who stresses that such pathways need to be flexible and updated frequently or otherwise "you'll be practicing obsolete medicine."
