FDA Proposes Rescheduling Hydrocodone

Facing pressure from both lawmakers and the Drug Enforcement Administration, FDA said Thursday (Oct. 24) that it plans to recommend moving hydrocodone combination products, like Vicodin, from Schedule III to the more restrictive Schedule II.
