FDA Names Yale Professor As New Food Center Director

FDA Monday (Nov. 10) named Susan Mayne, an epidemiology professor at the Yale School of Public Health, to the top position at the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. She replaces Michael Landa, who directed the center since 2010, and enters FDA at a crucial time as the agency lay out regulatory policies under the food safety law.
