House Democrats are blasting their GOP colleagues for signing a no-bid, $500-an-hour contract with David Rifkin of the law firm BakerHostetler for the House suit against President Barack Obama over the decision to delay the health law's employer mandate. The contract had a cap of $350,000, but Democratic leadership's press office stresses that the costs of an earlier House effort in support of the Defense of Marriage Act had skyrocketed to $2.3 million even though it had a $500,000 cap...
